Анотація
У статті визначено місце професійної підготовки майбутніх учителів географії, зокрема важливості формування у них готовності до безперервного професійного розвитку. Проаналізовано зміст поняття «педагогічна система» у науковій психолого-педагогічній літературі. Визначено структуру системи підготовки майбутніх учителів географії до безперервного професійного розвитку. Структуровано елементи та скомпоновано модель педагогічної системи підготовки майбутніх учителів географії до безперервного професійного розвитку. Проаналізовано освітньо-професійні програми закладів вищої освіти України на предмет наявності елементів системи підготовки майбутніх учителів географії до безперервного професійного розвитку. Виявлено важливість зміни системи підготовки фахівців від традиційної до безперервного розвитку.
